Hershey’s Travel Program is truly one of a kind. Our program is based on the belief that the kids and the community come first. This is one of the reasons that HSC is one of the longest running clubs in the country… 38 years and counting! The Hershey Travel Program is also competitive – offering high level trainers and coaches, speed and agility classes, foot skills clinics, our own in-house goalkeeping program, and the chance to play on our semi pro team. We strive to make sure that your child not only achieves their highest potential on the pitch, but that they also learn the value of sportsmanship and fair play.
If your child is a goalkeeper, we have a program that is second to none. At HSC, we understand that goalkeeping can be stressful and that keepers don’t always get the training they deserve. That’s why we offer a free training program to every team and athlete that wants to play between the pipes. We have a staff of trainers to give keepers every chance of being successful.
Every season we offer individual skills clinics for the field players as well. They are run by one of our highly qualified coaches and will cover foot skills and speed and agility.
For the older athlete, we have a semi pro team for both men and women. The NPSL/WPSL teams are rostered with current college players from D-1 to D-3 schools. HSC athletes start by practicing with the teams and as they grow will have a chance to represent the team in some games, giving HSC athletes a chance to play at a college level before any other club’s athletes. This offers HSC athletes a chance to show off to college coaches like no other club. Sending game footage making the big save, a sweet tackle, or the game winning goal against a current D-1 player to a coach will allow your athlete stand out!
Not ready to play semi-pro? Don’t let the word “travel” scare you away from the sport you love. We have many different levels of travel teams that play in different leagues. Some leagues only require minimal travel throughout the Central PA/Greater Harrisburg area, some leagues travel to the Philadelphia area, and some more competitive and older teams may play in leagues that travel even farther than that. Each team, no matter what level, is paired with a high-level paid trainer/coach to ensure athletes get the best training available. Our community based club puts the athletes and their level of play and commitment first – with coaches selecting the right league for their team.
Combine all of this with our exceptional fields and your child will have an opportunity to have fun, make friends that will last a lifetime, and build skills to play at any level. At Hershey Soccer Club, we’re not controlled by outside forces or by wins. We’re controlled by the most important asset we have – the children.
